  
We first met when out on an organised walking trip to the 'Lake District'. At first, we were just part of a big group and didn't really take that much notice of each other. It wasn't until day two of the walking that we actually started talking to each other and started to realise how much we had in common. The rest of the trip, we pretty much just walked and talked loads.
Afterwards, we went our separate ways as I (Sarah) was living in London and David in Harrogate and with the distance, I really didn't think much would come of it.
That was until a week later I had a call from David to say he just happened to be in the area and would I like to go out for a drink. We did and that drink turned into a great weekend together. David's just happening to be in the area was actually a 4 hour drive down the M1 on the off chance I may actually be home!!
Well, that was proof enough that we were supposed to be together and 6 months later, David moved his teaching job down to North London where we have been living together since.
